Hi. I’ve looked through the forums and can see that the calendar not showing up has been a problem for a lot of people. I’m sorry about posting and I really should take the time to try to figure this out myself but it’s all a bit overwhelming and I don’t have time to troubleshoot it myself so I’m hoping someone can help out.

I recently updated wordpress to 3.5 and I’m using Headway and updated it as well to the latest release 3.4.2. Before updating everything worked fine. After the updates the calendar disappeared.

I tried to use the [raw] [/raw] shortcode tags around [ESPRESSO_CALENDAR] but to no avail. I can see that there’s alot of jquery being loaded in the header but I really don’t know what to do. I’m hoping that someone can help me by taking a look at the source and maybe giving me an idea about what to do next. The website is http://www.vertico.es and the calendar should load both on that page and on http://www.vertico.es/calendario

Thanks,

and Happy New Year!

Michael

Hi Michael,

I’m sorry for the trouble. There is an open ticket to fix the issue where options get reset when there is an update to the calendar add-on.

Can you go to Event Espresso>Calendar Settings and make sure that the abbreviated (short) month names in the option box are formatted so that each month has a single quote before and after each month name. It looks like the first month is missing a quote. Here is an example of what should be in the box:

‘Ene’, ‘Feb’, ‘Mar’, ‘Abr’, ‘May’, ‘Jun’, ‘Jul’, ‘Ago’, ‘Sep’, ‘Oct’, ‘Nov’, ‘Diec’
