Hello Sam,

Both those issues are due to a problem in the theme. In the theme folder is a folder called js, in that is a file called jquery.min.js. This is an old version of jquery that is being loaded and unfortunately it is not following WordPress standards and is using the jQuery shortcode $ without putting it into non conflict mode.

As such it is throwing an error and stopping the subsequent jquery from working (the calendar and toggle).

There are a few ways to fix it.

1) Contact the theme developer and ask them to fix it

2) Find the file in the functions.php of the theme (not a guarantee it will be that file) and stop it from loading by commenting it out or deleting it. This may be a good idea as the site is loading the current jQuery anyway, but it might break something that was dependent on this version so be aware of that.

3) Fix the no conflicts mode. http://codex.wordpress.org/Function_Reference/wp_enqueue_script#jQuery_noConflict_Wrappers

Hi Sam,

We will need FTP credentials in order to do any work on the theme. You can send them via this form:

Hi, I just installed my business copy of EE on my local computer and then installed and activated the Calendar plugin. The calendar widget displays on my index.php page but will NOT display on any other page sidebars. I have tested this using Twenty Eleven theme and the calendar widget does not display on any page other than the index. Appreciate some help. Thanks.

@Vanessa – can you provide a link to your site please?

Did you ever find a resolution to the problem that the calendar widget only shows on the homepage (index page) and no other pages?  I would love to know the answer to this issue, I’m having the same problem

Hi Randy, I realized that you have to create a Calendar page with the shortcode for the calender on that page. Then you put the url of the Calendar page into the Calendar widget in the field that says Calendar page. It’s very strange but it worked once I did that. Appears there’s no documentation of this quirk either. Hope that helps you!
