Calendar Navigation Not Responsive on iPhone

Hi Guys –

My client is having an issue with the full event calendar on mobile device like the iPhone. The page: https://kennett-design.com/calendar/ has the month navigation buttons but on a small screen the “next” button (on the right) disappears / gets chopped off.

Can we make this navigation area responsive so that the buttons wrap or change in such a way that you can still navigate correctly on the iPhone?

Hi Greg,

I checked out the calendar and yes it is certainly got issues. The calendar by default will fit on a mobile phone (though we are currently re-working the calendar to improve this further).

It looks to me like a slight conflict with the themes reset.css file.

You could try adding some CSS like the example below to resize the tables text size.

#espresso_calendar td {
font-size: 12px;
}

Does this CSS need to go into the calendar.css file in EE or could I just put that into the theme style.css?

Hi,

Themes style.css or a plugin such as My Custom CSS. You may need to play about with the css, as I only checked it locally, but it seems to shrink the main table header text enough to bring it back on screen.
