Hi – long story but, I only wanted one post per course and list many event instances on each post. Recurring event manager seems to have a bug inserting multiple (being addressed elsewhere), so rather than make a mess creating lots of posts that get over-written by EE – I manually created my course description posts:
http://wordpress.eciti.co.uk/?p=2759

Obviously Event Espresso has no idea what the postID is, so most links from the calendar:
http://wordpress.eciti.co.uk/index.php/open-course-schedule/

Go here:
http://wordpress.eciti.co.uk/?p=0

Is there a way to manually tell the events what postID to display?

Thanks

Paul

Hi Mark,

The only way I can think of doing that would be to edit the database table events_detail to match up the event with the correct post_id (every event has a field for the post_id)

Editing the database directly resolved my issue perfectly – thank you!
