I would like my links in the calendar to open posts not EE event (the reason being that I add events in WP (not EE) posts by means of the shortcode [ESPRESSO_REG_PAGE event_id=1]).

It is possible to indicate the url of specific posts in the calendar?

Yes. Within the event editor under Event Options there is a field that’s labeled:

Alternate Registration Page (optional)

You place the post URL there and the calendar will link to that post.
