Why might our calendar be visible to some people but not others?
Someone reviewing the site for us can see everything except the calendar, while the rest of us CAN see the calendar.
He is using Internet Explorer and thinks he has the most recent version (which I know is IE10). I have IE9 and can see the calendar.
We are getting ready to go live and are wondering what possible reasons for the calendar simply not showing up might be. The link to the calendar is here: http://66.147.244.148/~centerd2/?page_id=1686
I checked on IE9 and the calendar loaded right up for me. However, if I click the “Compatibility View” button in the address bar (it’s the icon that looks like a page with a zig zag stripe across it, to the left of the refresh button) the calendar goes away.
We’ve seen this happen with some WordPress themes. It doesn’t seem to happen with the default WP theme though.
There are methods you can use to disable the compatibility view in IE which basically involve adding a meta tag to the theme’s header.php. Here is a link to a stackoverflow answer that may help:
