I am trying to have a landing page for a specific course but not a specific date. For example, http://www.ids.com/managementtrainingseminar When someone would go to this link they would see a description that is managed within the Page editor in wordpress, I would have shortcode like “[ESPRESSO_CALENDAR event_category_id=”your_category_identifier”]” underneath the description to show a full list of dates that this course is offered. THE ISSUE though is that I already have the event info saved in the event espresso plugin. The short code aggregates the full description for each date in the specified category…..so if there are 5 course dates and you want to click on the last one then you have to scroll through 5 course descriptions to get to that date.
I know of one fix…which would be to go to each specific instance (date) of this course and delete the description so only the location info and registration link shows. I would rather not have to do this.
SO MY ULTIMATE question is, is there another short code that I dont know about that I could put on this page that would just aggregate the course date and signup link so that there could be 10 or more courses and still be viewed on one page. An example of what I want it to look like is at the link below.
The Custom Files add on has something simpler though in a more basic format, the ESPRESSO_TABLE shortcode.
This will require some coding knowledge as the Custom Files addon is meant as a springboard to customising things, and the table would definitely need changing to meet your needs.
