I would like to display different calendars on different pages of my site; for example, a calendar with one category on one page, another category on another page, and all categories on another page. Is this possible?

Another thing I was wondering about is whether I can add some events to the calendar that are not open for registration, i.e. some events you can register for but other events are not open for registration.

Yes, you would want to use a different category id in the calendar shortcode option that you place on each page: [ESPRESSO_CALENDAR event_category_id=”your_category_identifier” show_expired=”true”]
The show_expired=”true” might work to display the events that are not open for registration. If it doesn’t work, let us know, and we can tinker with the code to get it working for you.
