My Calendar has disappeared (again). it shows when a WP page is previewed but not when saved for normal display. I say “again” because we had this issue in Jan but it got fixed. (see support form for “Calendar Disappeared”) I really haven’t done anything to my web site between then and now… but the calendar has disappeared again.

http://scottfaber.com/photography-class-calendar/

the Calendar should show up at the top of the page. you can see the insert code… but it doesn’t show up.

Help?
EE 3.1.36.5.p
calendar is 2.2.3.p
wp is 3.8.3

thank you.

Hi sfaber,

Reading the previous thread this appears to be an issue with the theme.

Have you recently updated the theme?

The theme developer mentions an option to disable ‘ProPhoto’s post cache functionality’, has that been set to disable that functionality?

updating theme — I don’t know if I have… I don’t thinks so.

Cache — I don’t know if the post cache functionality is turned off. if it was, it was done by the theme creator when they were given access to the site. I’m happy to try turning it off if i knew where the switch was… do you know how I might turn it off so we can test it?

Hi there,

It looks like the same error that happened before (ecal is not defined) that the theme’s post cache feature caused. What’s happening is the calendar script passes the calendar options via the wp_localize_script function, and the theme’s caching breaks the wp_localize_script when caching is enabled. The theme author will know how to disable the post cache feature. It’s a theme feature, not an Event Espresso feature.
