Dear espresso,

it would seem that by default past events are one colour and future events are another. however if I start to set category colors theis past 7 future is forgotten. Which styles are used?

Sorry Josh must have fallen asleep whilst typing.

I think that by default past & future events have a diffent coloyr. However if I set teh coulur of a category the differentiation between past and future is lost.

So which styles are used to colour calendar items… I may be able to resolve using css.

There is an .expired class added to events in the past. You probably need to add in your CSS an alternate color for .expired events that are also of a particular category.
