On the Events Calendar page it states that the calendar allows you to invite attendees to add the events to their own calendars as a friendly reminder. How is this accomplished?

I would like the attendees to have the option to add the event to their Outlook Calendar while they are on the page that are registering for.

Thank you.

Hello Mary Ann,

This is accomplished by enabling the “Add to my Calendar” link in the Template Settings. It enables the ability to download an ics file that can be imported into Outlook.

Sorry, I don’t quite understand. Will this be simple for the registrant to accomplish? Do you have an example you can give me, a link where I can see this in action? We are looking for this feature. Thank you for your time.

Hi Mary Ann,

The way it works is that there is a link (icon) on the event and the user clicks it. A File is downloaded (and .ics file) which the user can then import into the calendar of their choosing (Google calendar for instance).
