When I create an event with a post on WP linked to the event, I move the corresponding question (a post to create ?) to “yes”. and it creates a post with the basic information (link to registration, map and title). This is perfect.
[sorry not to put the exact wording, but EE is installed in french]
Then, I modify all the post with photos, logos, description, etc…
If I then go to the event and modify it, there is a terrible bug : the answer to the post question stays on “yes” and when I update the event, all the post is erase wit Event Expresso creating a post replacing the existing one !
Technically, it is not a big issue, but to run events, it is awfull and breaks all the system !
If you need to create posts for events where you’ll be customizing the posts, I can recommend creating a post outside of using the auto post feature. Otherwise, It will re-generate the post each time the event is updated (based on the event content). If it didn’t update the post after updating the event, that would be a bug.
