I’m using EE 4.1.9.1.reg on WP 3.8.1, and for some reason the breadcrumbs on the detail page for my events shows the event as being under our Blog page rather than the Events page.

On the main Events page (http://www.lfleadership.com/events), it shows the breadcrumb as “You are here: Home / Events”.

On the event detail page, it shows “You are here: Home / Blog / [Event name]”. (An example is here.)

In my Pages, the Events page is set up as a top-level static page, and the EE registration-related pages are set up as children of that page.

How do I fix this? Is there some setting I’m not seeing?

Hi Max,

The breadcrumb system you are using is not taking custom post types into consideration.

For example a plugin such as Breadcrumbs NavXT correctly shows the custom post type archive (/events/) and the event itself.
