My client is requesting if I can block out dates in the event calendar. They are not holding any classes the entire month of December.
How can I block out December and show users that there will be no classes held for the month of December? Currently, I just have text above the calendar to alert this to users.
Then, leave the registration dates blank. Set the event start date to December 1, 2012 and the End date to January 1, 2012 (in order to block the whole month out).
Change, “Display description?” to “No”.
Change, “Display registration form?” to “No”.
Once you save the event, the default event times will show 8:00am – 5:00pm. You will need to remove those times and save again.
Now, check your calendar to see how it displays. :)
