Hello

Moneris has successfully made the credit card transaction, but when coming back to the site the Thank You page is blank. I’ve been trying for weeks to make this work, and it seems to me that it used to come back to the Thank You page and report “pending” (when actually Moneris processed the payment successfully), but now the Thank You page is blank–there is no gateway content describing the status of the transaction.

WordPress 3.5.2
EE 3.1.35.P
MER 1.0.4
Recurring Events 1.1.7.1

Thank you for your help.

Hi,

Is the page completely blank? Are their any error messages? Is the user marked as complete in the dashboard area?

In your Moneris account have you made sure that the return urls are set correctly? There should be 3 – Return from payment, payment notification, and cancellation.

If you go to Event Espresso>System Status you’ll see the URL’s listed there for each of them.

hi Dean

The page is not completely blank.
https://app.box.com/s/ez0a6fjslh9y2xl2wdac

This shows the webpage, but where I expected to see a table of payment details, there is nothing. Moneris has process the transaction successfully. The registrant has been added (and is taking up a seat without paying, which I don’t like, but that’s another topic), but the status is Pending.

The settings are all made in Moneris, though the terminology they use for pages and the terminology EE uses are different, which is confusing at times. I’ve been trying to get this to work for weeks, and have had no success so far. It’s really difficult.

Hi Greg,

Under “Security Features” in your Moneris account, what is the “Response URL” set to?

This may be tricky to implement with the way that GoDaddy serves via a proxy.

Is it a requirement to host this site on GoDaddy?

Well, is it a requirement that I live in my current city? No, but I wasn’t planning on moving the entire enchilada just for EE payment processing. We successfully made a PayPal transaction, so I was hoping that Moneris can work as well.
