I have had a customer purchase four tickets to an event. They were emailed the ticket links and the payment was successful through paypal, but they were never added to the event in the backend. How can I resolve this?

Hi,

Is this an intermittant issue? Have you tested it with free events? Are you running the latest version of Event Espresso? Did the issue start recently? If so was there any changes made to the site (new plugins/themes, customisations etc)?

On every event I put up, it seems like a few people have payment issues where it shows payment incomplete in the backend but when I check PayPal, it shows they have paid. This is the first time it has showed payment, but not logged them into the system at all.

Yes, I have tested on free events and everything worked. I am running 3.1.27P but the issues have been present for a year on whatever version. No changes to the site other than aesthetic changes. Is there some way to track by transaction ID? It’s strange that it sent her an email with ticket links, but when she clicks the links, it just goes to a page on the site…no ticket. Paypal took her money though.

Hi,

Yes this is quite strange indeed, I havent heard of there ever being a problem with attendees not being recorded at all, but on searching I found one issue from 2011.

Who is your hosting provider?

Have you enabled logging? If not can you please, it is in the general settings page. The log file appears in uploads/espresso/logs folder.

Is it possible to get your login details in order to look into this?

If so, please send them via http://staging.eventespresso.com/contact/

Choose the “I am sending login info as requested” option and fill out the form

NOTE: login details need to be Admin level.

Yes, logging was enabled about a month ago. I am sending you the details through the contact form.

Thanks!
