Many of our events are identical to previous events we setup. In order to save time I would like to be able to duplicate a past event when setting up new events. I tried using the “Duplicate Event” button on the event I want to copy. And this works great except… it sets up the new event to use the same post as the previous event. I need each event to have its own post since some of the details will be changed from event to event. What is the best way to create a new event based off a previous one – and still have each event use its own unique post? Or do I need to setup each event from scratch each time?

The duplicate event feature will not duplicate the post, so you’d need to set up each event from scratch if they need to auto-create posts.

Bummer. That would be a nice feature to add in the future!
