Basic html tags in Event title field

Trying to italicize part of a title of an event. WordPress pages and posts allow this, such as:
My Page <em>Title</em>
When adding a event title like this, the em tags are removed. Anyway I can do this?

Not currently, as we have locked down the HTML usage. I’ll add a request to ease up on this if possible.
