Hi – I seem to be having issues with users registrations getting overwritten when they use the browser back button after paying.
I am running WP 3.5.2, with EE 3.1.33.3.P, and I have the Mailchimp Integration and Price Modifier addons activated. I am using the Payfast (www.payfast.co.za) payment gateway supplied by Payfast (https://www.payfast.co.za/developers/eventespresso)
I have now had 2 instances where users have come and registered, been redirected to teh Payfast gateway, paid (so there is a payment record at Payfast), and then they have used their back button to come and register a friend – this seems to have had the effect of overwriting their original record with the friends record when they go to pay …
Is there a fix for this? Or should I contact the Payfast developers.
Please update your plugin. It is a situation we are aware of and we added a notice so if the user hits the back button they are stopped and warned that they will lose their original registration.
