I’ve been using EE for a while now and haven’t really been vocal about some of the limitations of the software.

I really want this to be set it and forget it, and I really wish it could be, but I know I’ve been losing business so here goes.

When I create an event, there is a text box field ostensibly to be populated with information regarding the event…or a reply email telling they’ve successfully registered and here is the info you need to know…but that field is IMPOSSIBLE to type into. It’s a dead rectangle in the Event Espresso plug in.

Is there any way to create an auto reply so my registrants, whether or not they have paid, can be notified a) that they have successfully registered and b) set up a reminder that is x-days before the event?

Seems fairly straightforward that this is a fairly basic need.

Any help is very appreciated – thanks very much!

Hi there Hugh,

Autoreplies aren’t currently available but I’ll be sure to add this to our feature list to be considered for a future version of Event Espresso.

I’m not sure I understand where this dead rectangle is happening.

Could you please grab a screenshot and upload to WP Media and link here?

You could also use a free online image service such as tinygrab.com or getcloudapp.com and then link to the image here.

Thanks!

Lorenzo

Hi Lorenzo,

Thanks for getting back to me.

Here’s the dropbox link to the image: https://www.dropbox.com/s/3pf5fh7yj6glt2d/EE%20text%20box.tiff

The text field is, and has always been completely UNeditable.

And when I said ‘auto replies’ I really meant automated reminders…

Thanks!

h

Thanks for sharing the screenshot. It should be available for editing:

Another plugin may be creating a conflict. Try temporarily deactivating other plugins and taking another look.

If it works, reactivate one by one to find the source of the conflict.
