When trying to update the plugin, we keep getting the same message:

You have the correct Site License Key for Event Espresso but your current membership access only allows for automatic upgrades on one domain. Please log into your account to manage your Site License Keys or purchase a support license now.

By the way, we have never changed our domain name and always use the same one after we purchased Event expresso…. so what is wrong?

I’ve reset your key. Let me know if you continue to get that message.

Garth, thanks but it still does not work, I keep getting the same message:

There is a new version of Event Espresso available. View What’s New with version 3.1.26.P. You need a valid Site License Key to enable automatic upgrades. Your current membership level does not allow automatic upgrades on more than one domain. Please log into your account to manage your Site License Keys or purchase a support license now.

There is a new version of Event Espresso available. View version details. Automatic update is unavailable for this plugin.

What is the problem?

Are you trying to use Event Espresso on a domain other than chainalive.com?

Nope, we are using the exact same domain… we have actually bought expresso after we launched our wordpress website.

Remove the license key from your General Settings, then let us know. We’ll reset it on our end again. Then, you can add it again and see if that fixes it. Let us know.

@Max
Make sure you have no other versions of Event Espresso in your /wp-content/plugins directory. If you have old versions of Event Espresso (or other Event Espresso add-ons) in your plugins, it may cause this issue.

We have no other versions and we are still getting the same message…

I am getting a message that I do not have a valid site license key, which is not true (at least I think so). So, the automatic upgrade is not taking place. The key was recently reset so I could get the previous upgrade (3.1.26.P). I’m sure you can help me.

wbatson, I’ve reset both your license key so let me know if you still have trouble.

Max, we reset your license key once and now the message is back or are you having problems with the download?
