My customer just wants to capture the card information and have Authorize.net save the info so she can run it manually when they arrive or dont show. I understand this cannot be done…once again i have an unhappy client. They COULD do this with DT Register for Joomla and I have seen this option on other shopping carts. There should be a way to have the option the capture or authorize only for Authorize.net.
The Authorizenet AIM payment gateway does not support authorize and capture at this time. Another member asked about this earlier in the week and I did add it to the feature request list.
Is there not a way to change in the code where it connects to auth.net to do that? When it connects, it has to tell it to do one of the other by default.
There may be a way to refactor the client code, and you’re certainly welcome to do so, however please note that our gateway was not written to handle payments in this manner and changing it to make it authorize only is not currently supported.
