I select an Event and list the attendees. There are two people registered for the event called Alison X. The first was added by admin the second the client signed up for. However, if you click on the detail for the first attendee it shows the correct event and ticket but on the second entry the time for the event is correct but the title of the event and is entirely different.
How come there are two names listed as attendees for one event but in fact are different events?
Alison X is registered for event A (actually happening today). I click on her name and it also lists one additional attendee to the right, also called Alison X with identical email etc. If I click on this record it’s not for this event but for one happening in two weeks.
EE is 3.1.36.2.P, I saw there is another update which I’ll do.
All the events have group registration but this is to allow someone to buy a ticket for themselves and a guest.
What is confusing is that her registration shows a ticket price outstanding of £120.00 but for an event where the ticket price is only £20. The £120 is for the annual conference which she said she registered twice for by mistake. She is listed twice under the £120 event but the second entry is for the £20 event.
When viewing all attendees there were three entries, two made by the client and one added manually. The company looking after the management of the events have now deleted the duplicate registration so this can’t be investigated. I still don’t know how the mismatch happened in that they ended up in the wrong list but maybe it was a one off!
I am a little confused as to how it happened as well, I cannot duplicate the issue locally. Perhaps monitor the situation for now and if it re-occurs advise us immediately (and if possible don’t delete the attendee).
