Hello- Is it possible to make a list of attendees available on the front-end for every event that gets added to the calendar?
Hello, there is a shortcode available that you can use for an event: [LISTATTENDEES event_identifier=”your_event_identifier”] See this page for more options: https://staging.eventespresso.com/wiki/shortcodes-template-variables/#attendee-list —
Thanks Lorenzo. Is it possible to have that automatically added to an event’s registration page so people can see who else has signed up for the event already?
| Hi Trevis, To do that you would need to edit the registration_page_display.php template. Copy that both registration_page.php & registration_page_display.php to wp-content/uploads/espresso/templates/ then in that location open up registration_page_display.php. Around line 43 you’ll find: </p> <?php echo espresso_format_content($event_desc); //Code to show the actual description. The WordPress function "wpautop" adds formatting to your description. ?> <p> Add <?php echo do_shortcode('[LISTATTENDEES]'); ?> Around there, lets like afte the p tags, so: </p> <?php echo espresso_format_content($event_desc); //Code to show the actual description. The WordPress function "wpautop" adds formatting to your description. ?> <p> <?php echo do_shortcode('[LISTATTENDEES]'); ?> That will output the Attendee list for the event on each registration page. Hope that helps. |
Awesome, thank you so much Tony! That is exactly what we’re looking for. I greatly appreciate the assistance you and your team have provided with this plugin… Above and beyond.
