I assume users can cancel their own reservations, but I didn’t find anything in the FAQs and when I searched for it, I was unable to see replies to a similar question because I haven’t bought the product yet (http://staging.eventespresso.com/topic/attendee-cancellations-modifications/)

If you are using the WP user integration, then users can access their “My Events” admin page under their profile, or you can use a shortcode to display the “My Events” on a front-facing page on your site.
We also have a bit of code that you can add that will automatically add the attendee as a WP user, if they are not one already, when they fill out the registration form for an event.
