I was under the impression that Event Espresso was like Event Brite or Constant Contact where you choose a Template, entered your information and published it. I don’t understand any of this gobbly gook at all. I have been reading the instructions for almost a week now, and its just complicated. I have published several of my own Go Daddy websites, and work on my Word Press frequently. What do I do? This is just way beyond my capabilities. I had no clue when I bought it that it would be this hard. I don’t even know what the finished product is supposed to look like. Does it stand alone? Is it embedded in my Word Press website? Thank you.
Hi Kathy, I am very sorry for your troubles. While Event Espresso is a very robust system, it does take time to set up and if you aren’t familiar with WordPress, there may be a larger learning curve. Here is a link to our demo site: http://demoee.org What can we help with? What questions do you have? We will be happy to help you.
Hi Jonathan, thank you. I am a visual person, and I had no clue what the finished product was supposed to look like. Is this then part of my Word Press website? Or is it a stand alone with links to it from my website? I have a part-time webmaster, but I do get in to my WP website and ding around from time to time. How and where do you choose a template? Can we pre-publish, so we can get an idea of what it is going to look like, and if we need to tweak it?
I have actually got most of this pretty well figured out! Amazing! Now that I see an example on how it appears on my website, I am able to connect the dots. Thanks a lot Jonathan, you are an angel. :-). !
Hi, I’m glad Jonathan helped you to get things straight. If you need further visual ideas, you can check out our showcase – http://staging.eventespresso.com/showcase/
