I would like to have the answers to questions I ask to be sent with an email.

I have a question that says: Parent’s First Name.  how would I display the answer to this in the automated email?

Hi David,

There’s a custom email tag that you can use that’s documented here:

http://staging.eventespresso.com/wiki/custom-email-tags/

It’s basically [answer_Form question]

Alternatively you can use the [custom_questions] shortag and it will display all of them.

There is a limitation where if you have a single/quote apostrophe in the question name the single answer shortcode doesn’t not work, so if you use the single answer shortcode you can re-word the question to something like “First name of parent?” or “Parent first name”.
