Hi David,

The Espresso Events shortcode is a core Event Espresso shortcode and shouldn’t be changed or replaced with any other shortcodes.

The Event List shortcode allows you to show a list of events based on certain parameters. However sorting by price is not an available option.

This page has more information about the Event List shortcode along with examples:

Can what i want be done in EE4 ?

It seems simple enough so a shame it can’t be done in EE3 :-(

Lorenzo

I see what your saying – But why does this short code to list the cheapest event (ticket price first) – Seems pretty sill as showing the most expensive will put some people off

I can’t see any reason why the dearest price shows rather than the cheapest

Hi,

One of the developers, Seth, created a couple of functions for EE3 that can be used to change how the prices are displayed on the Event List pages:

Price list: it will show all prices in a list – https://gist.github.com/sethshoultes/ab1e992668cf3166a686

Price range: it will show prices in a range such as $10-$100 https://gist.github.com/sethshoultes/f05ae8b0c2f549a94d67

EE4 doesn’t show the prices on the event “archive” list, but you can set it so the ticket selectors are shown. Screenshot http://take.ms/36GTM

Thanks – The rice range will do fine :-)
