When creating events and entering an email address in the “alternate email address” field, it is my understanding that the registration confirmation email will go to that address and NOT to the admin address. However, upon repeated tests emails are automatically being sent to BOTH addresses. How do I stop the admin address from receiving each and every registration confirmation? Thanks!
I think, at one point in time, that the system used to only send to one or the other. However, a majority of users wanted both the alternate email address and admin email to send at the same time, so we changed it to work accordingly.
You might try setting up a different email address to catch all of the admin emails. Then you can just add the real admin email address, on an as needed basis, to the alternate email address field.
Hope that helps.
