We have a membership site we are using Event Espresso for, and were wondering how we can allow them access to see their event details without giving them access directly to the plug-in. we are using the WPMUDEV Membership plugin for our system.

Not sure if there is an API or another way to show them that info. Mainly want them to be able to see the registration details or event overview.

Any suggestions would be appreciated. Thanks!

Hi Brian,

Which event details are you wanting to give access to? Have you seen the WP user integration documentation? That’s a good place to start:

Hi Josh,

We have this plugin but it appears to be more for attendees than our users. Our users are the event presenters and we would like to give them access to the stats for the event registration details (number of registrants, etc) without giving them direct access to our EE Plugin. any suggestions?

Hi Brian,

One suggestion would be to create event information pages for these users/presenters and give them specific access to the pages.

There are shortcodes that you place on these pages that will display information about events. I’ll link to some of the applicable shortcodes in the documentation:

great suggestion Josh. Is there a way to show just events they are “assigned to”? (ie., just their personal events?)

Hi Brian,

If you’ve assigned them to an event as a staff member, there is parameter that you can add to the [EVENT_LIST] shortcode:

[EVENT_LIST staff_id=”2″]

The above would show all events assigned to the staff member with the ID of 2.
