    Hi,

We would like to create a site which allows event owners to list their events (like EventBrite.com for example)
Do you support this functionality, or do I, as the owner of the site need to publish the events myself?

Also, we would like to charge the event owners for each event they post. Does this feature exist?

Last question: many times, the owners of an event are actually owners of a certain location where the event takes place. Can this owner (user) add a location, so that all the future events that he will create will show this location?

    Thanks!

    Hi Assaf,

Event Espresso is primarily focused on empowering event creators to manage their events themselves, to get away from the costs associated with the likes of Eventbrite.

That being said, we do have a basic front end form (via a beta version plugin) that will allow registered users to submit an event. It does not have the full functionality of the admin event editor but it has a fair amount.

We do not have a system in place to charge people to create events, I believe some customers have had success using thirdparty membership or access restriction plugins.

The above plugin does allow users to select a venue from a pre-created list (the admin will need to add the venue details prior to event creation)
