WP version = 3.6.1
EE version = 3.1.35.1.P
New Install
No live registration yet…in testing mode

What determines the email address…
• …the recipient sees as “sender” and can reply to?
• …for the “Admin” for receiving notifications

Thanks a bunch!

Try Event Espresso -> General Settings, and in the top most section “Organization” down at the bottom is a field called “Primary Contact Email”. I think this is what you’re asking for

Correct. Just wanted to verify that is the field that it is pulled from.

Now for Part 2:
– How is the email sent?
– In our initial test, neither a confirmation nor a notification was received.
– We host with Bluehost so maybe this is a question for them…but, our email is run through RackSpace via our DNS settings.

Hi,

The mails use the standard wp_mail function. Was the spam folder checked? Can you try a plugin such as Check Email to make sure standard emails are going out? If the server isnt sending the mails correctly, you may require a thirdparty plugin such as WP Mail SMTP or service such as Mandrill or Postmarkapp.

Hi Dean – we did get them to come through.

BUT, they came through as sender & email address showing “username@box###.BlueHost.com.”

Just in case it is helpful to others, here is the solution via BlueHost –> https://my.bluehost.com/cgi/help/206

I’m work working on fixing that now. I’ll report back if it DOES NOT solve the issue.
