Is there a way to set where the event detail (or event single – depending on your terminology) can direct to the url it currently sits in?
Example:
My client’s site has two silo’s. Each silo has events. When you click on an event, it brings you to the root of the website, when we want it to stay within it’s designated silo.
I think this can be done. If it can, what you would do is nest the event-registration page beneath the /events page in the page attributes options area of the event-registration page.
I don’t really see how it would be possible without rewriting major pieces of code, which one of our recommended developers might be able to do as a customization job, but I think it would have to be so extensive that you wouldn’t be able to update again. If you are basically setting up two sites, though, you might want to think about setting it up as a WordPress multisite with sub-directories. That way you could activate EE on each sub-directory and each would have it’s own main registration page within it’s silo.
