I’ve installed AddThis Social Bookmarking Widget. It shows up on my posts, but not on my EE events. How do I incorporate this into my events? Thanks!

Have you tried the Social Media addon that is included with Event Espresso?

I tried it. The like button on every event listing shows the cumulative likes from all events listed. When you click like, it shares the article that is going to happen the soonest. Even if you click like on an event that were to happen weeks down the road. I ended up disabling it.

Hi,

Due to the way EE3 is designed any social sharing system will share the page not the event as, they are not custom post types. This is why the AddThis social buttons are not displaying on the events.

EE4 handles this better as it uses individual posts for an event.
