Add youtube videos to event description

Hi there,

I tried to embed a youtube video to the event description, but upon saving it, the code disappears.

I am able to do this fine on a regular WP post.

Can you tell me what I maybe doing wrong, and if there is a workaround to it?

Hi,

No you are not doing anything wrong at all, it seems our recent efforts to tighten security have decided youtube videos are a threat and are stripping out the code.

Sorry about that :(

I will get a developer ticket raised on this to look into it.

We’ve been looking at this. This will most likely go into one of the next bugfix releases (3.1.32 or 3.1.33).
