    Hello,
Multi-registration plugin not working and can’t find a solution to fix. EE Version 3.1.30.4P

    The problem:
When I click the “view cart” button I get the following message:
It looks like you are attempting to refresh a page after completing your registration or your cart is empty. Please go to the events page and try again.

How can we get plugin to work?

I contacted host and they didn’t find anything causing this on the server side. They also checked sessions and set them up to be saved on the home tmp folder. I also, disabled non-ee plugins and still the multi-event reg plugin did not work. The templates have also been replaced with the new templates from the last manual upgrade I made.

    Hi Linda,

Try to rule out any plugin conflicts. Deactivate all non Event Espresso plugins and test to see if the issue is still occurring. If it is not, then we know it is a problem with another plugin. You can then find out which plugin it is by reactivating each plugin individually and testing to see if the problem starts happening after the activation. When it occurs after activating a plugin, then we know this is the culprit.

Sites live so I wanted to test after hours ;) Thanks for your quick reply…

I disabled all non Event Expresso plugins and I still got the error message above; “It looks like you are attempting to refresh a page…”

I used theme test drive plugin and tested twenty eleven and a couple other themes and still got the same error message.

      Any other ideas???

      Hi,

Have you checked to see if there are any template files in wp-content/uploads/espresso/templates?

If so renaming that folder (via FTP or the button in Template Settings options page) will allow the plugin to use the latest default templates, and that should resolve the issue.

Hello Dean, There were files in the folder. I renamed and still didn’t solve the problem… I even went as far as to delete the folder and nothing… Still getting error message… OMG I stumbled onto something… For some reason when I go to the site the prefix is (HTTP) http://lindaberens.com/training-and-events/ – multi registration doesn’t work… But when I manually change the http to https on the browser it works multi registration finally works… Can you take a look on your end??? Please…

So know I need to figure out how to make sure that page is (HTTPS) when users land on it… Any suggestions… Can you explain to me why changing prefix to https would fix the problem??? When I click on the button “description” instead of “add to cart” it opens up the description page with form and it works correctly using the prefix http…

Ex. Works fine just using http

So I went to this page (http://staging.eventespresso.com/wiki/espresso-sslhttps/ ) to learn how to force SSL to event espresso pages… The plugin suggested for some reason triggered the white screen of death… So I deleted from plugins folder and installed CSS-HTTPS plugin, followed tutorial and multi-registration is finally working… Whew… Thanks…
