I have a Business license and i have installed all the available Add-ons/plugins as instructed in the documentation.

    1. There appears to be an issue with the Add to cart functionality that needs to be addressed. On the Single Event page, when a visitor click the Add to cart link, it changes to View Cart. The issue is that once you click on the View Cart link, it takes you to the Cart page, but the Number of tickets in the drop down still shows “0” meaning that the original Add to Cart did not indeed add anything to the cart, and visitors have to go through the rigor of having to change the drop down to 1 or any number of tickets they planned to purchase. This can be duplicated even on EE demo event page so it appears to be a general issue.

    2. I am not sure if I am the only one confused by this, but what is the difference between register and Add to Cart? These two options displays for the visitor to click on an Event Page. Not sure why we expect a visitor to register for an event they are not paying for, or why we have Add to Cart when a visitor will still have to register to pay for the event on the Add to cart page? Please clarify.

    3) Based on #2 above, how do I just have only one of the options show up on my event pages? That way we can reduce the confusion.

    Thanks

    Hi,

” i have installed all the available Add-ons/plugins as instructed in the documentation.”

This is actually not recommended. We advise only to install the add ons that you will actually be using. Can you advise where you saw this in the documentation please?

    1) This is intended behaviour. The add to cart link adds the event to the cart, so multiple different events can be added before the user needs to click the view cart.

The fact that the tickets are set as 0 is to stop users from simply clicking on when there are multiple ticket types, which caused numerous problems in the past. As such they are now required to select what tickets they wish to purchase.

Depending on your exact set up, this thread may be of use – https://staging.eventespresso.com/topic/is-it-possible-to-use-multi-add-to-cart-with-at-least-one-item-chosen/

    2) Register is the default and is used for a single registration/purchase. the user will only be able to purchase tickets for one event at a time, and can only select from one ticket type.

Add to cart allows the users to add multiple events to cart and also to be able to select from multiple ticket types (if they are set up) while in the cart.

    3) Well, to remove the Add to Cart, disable the Multiple Event Registration plugin. To keep that and remove the Register, unfortunately requires some template edits as the Register is core to the plugin, something like this http://staging.eventespresso.com/topic/removing-register-linkview-details-just-add-to-cart-link/
