I have a personal license of Event Espresso. and I need:

1) to add another pricing field to allow the purchase of an additional ticket at $5 each, to a Family of 4 registration package
2) The ability for a registrant to make a donation in addition to the ticket price

Do I need to purchase the Multiple Events add-on to do that?

Hi Steve,

The short answer is yes, you will need the purchase the Multiple Events add-on to achieve what you are wanting.

Now for the long answer. At this time we don’t have an option that supports adding donations, as in attendees manually entering the amounts. We usually recommend that you create prices for the donation levels, which can be done with the Multiple Events add-on. The attendee then decides which donation amount to add to cart before checkout.

Hope this helps.

Okay, I’ve purchased the add on, but I’m having trouble figuring out which short code to use. Can you direct me to additional documentation? Thanks for your help.
