Hi Sorry I had another couple of questions: Re setting up non-member and member prices for events – the organisation I want to set event espresso up for has different membership levels so if my non-member price is £100 and my premium member price for the event is £80 can I also specify a cost for my general member that is different to the premium member cost? (In some cases the general member wouldn’t get a discount but they would benefit when registering as their personal details would be pre-populated in the registration form.) With the WP add on will the members be able to log in and edit their own personal details? Many thanks.
Hi Gillian, Are you using a plugin like S2 Member to manage the multi-membership levels? The WP user integration adds some additional fields to the user profile page that can be edited by the member when they are logged in.
Hi Yes, will be using something like S2 to manage membership levels (maybe magic members or another one that will alert our members their membership needs renewing prior to it expiring, which I don’t think S2 does.) Gillian
One of the developers here put together a modification that works with S2 member so that you can offer price levels based on membership levels. It’s not in the official release, but if you end up purchasing Event Espresso + the WP user integration we’ll be happy to share the code with you.
Hi We are going to purchase the business edition and if I go with S2 will certainly take you up on that offer. Many thanks for that. Gillian
I would like to add additional fields to what is shown above in WP User integration. How complicated would that be? Thanks in advance for your advise.
Also, I would like the code one of the developers there put together that works with S2 member so I can offer price levels based on membership levels. I have purchased the business license. Can you share the code with me? Thanks.
