| January 17, 2013 at 9:48 am Hello, I would like to add attendees to an event without them receiving any confirmation emails. I’ve already set “send payment confirmation emails” to NO. I looked through a post with the same issue at [https://staging.eventespresso.com/topic/add-attendee-with-no-confirmation-email/]. However I could not find the file “add_new_attendee.php”. Could you please advice where to find the file, and what to edit within the file? Many thanks! |

| January 17, 2013 at 3:17 pm Hi Vinay, We generally do not assist with making customizations to core files, but I can point you in the right direction. add_new_attendee.php is in /includes/admin-reports of the event-espresso plugins. The code that fires the email is on line 7. |

| January 18, 2013 at 1:02 pm Hi Vinay, The code there doesn’t appear to check for any options set in the admin. They’re set on line 7. I can add your idea to the list of feature requests and we will keep it in mind for future features and updates! |

| January 25, 2013 at 5:31 am Hi Josh, Can I check what is the difference between “draft” and “public”? It seems to me that there is no difference/customisation for these 2 statuses. Our initial plan when manually adding attendees is to automatically send confirmation emails to “public” events and NOT automatically send emails to “draft” events. Please help. Cheers! |
