(This message was added in version 6.7.0.) in /home/staging-poc/public_html/wp-includes/functions.php on line 6114 Add New Attendee Through Backend | Event Espresso - Staging Server
I’ll start off by saying my Event Espresso has quite a few changes to it and so the bug that I am having trouble with now may be specifically on my side.
The problem that I am having is when I add an attendee to an event through the ‘Add New Attendee’ button from the WordPress dashboard (Event Overview -> Event Name -> Add New Attendee), the total cost remaining is never the correct value. It seems that if I add a new attendee this way the total cost is always $0. I can test this by changing the amount paid to any value, and it will say that the user has overpaid by that value. I assumed that if I went into a specific event it would have its cost associated with it and so EE would be able to add an attendee and assign that cost to them.
Is this a known issue? Again it may be an issue with my set-up of EE since I have modified some code and it is a MU WP install.
Firstly thank you for mentioning the modifications, not everyone does and it does help us rule things out.
I have tested the add new attendee process on a default test server, and they are not marked as over paid, in fact regardless of the amount added to the “Amount paid” field they will be marked as complete by the system.
The manual addition doesnt automatically figure out what ticket the user has been added for, it does require the admin to enter the correct prices.
I can’t see MU being an issue here, more likely a problem modification or perhaps the age of the plugin, what version is yours based on?
We did have some attendee issues back in the 3.1.30.X’s but nothing like what you are saying.
Thank you for the prompt response. We are using EE 3.1.32.2.P at the moment so it probably is not related to the version you mentioned above.
We will just use the normal register pages to add attendees instead of the backend as your third paragraph pretty much sums up our problem.
Thanks for your help.
