My link is http://www.greensafe.com.sg/en/event-registration/?regevent_action=register&event_id=1

The add more attendess not working. Any idea why?

Also, it does not redirect automatically to Paypal. Need to click here.

Can someone help me out?

Hi Sheldon,

Your sites theme is loading an older version of jQuery than 1.7+ required by Event Espresso. To test this is the case use the default Twenty Twelve theme and try again.

Does the Add more attendees button then work?

Hi Tony,

Yes the add more attendess is working now. I have updated to latest jquery. How about the redirection to paypal? It does not work. You can try to register and it will stop at there.

Thank you.

Hi,

The redirect is javascript based, and there is a javascript error coming from one of your themes files.

Most notably in the custom.js file, it is trying to use the shorthand for jQuery, which is $ but it hasn’t set it up correctly in order to use it.

See here regarding no conflicts http://digwp.com/2011/09/using-instead-of-jquery-in-wordpress/ specifically the bottom example.

Hi Sir,

I have changed to the default theme. The redirection still does not work.

Can you advise?

Thank you.

Hi Sheldon,

Honestly, I’m not sure. There doesn’t seem to be any javascript errors now, so it should redirect.

As such I would suggest doing a full troubleshoot. Disable all plugins except event espresso and test again. Change the theme to a default theme such as TwentyTwelve and test again. If it works at a default level then re-activate the theme, then the plugins one by one, testing each time until the culprit is found.

I managed to make the redirect work. However, there is a leaving page warning before the redirection. How can i disable it only for this page – payment page?

Hi Sheldon,

To disable the warning you need to add the class ‘allow-leave-page’ to the submit button/redirect.

How do i do so? Able to advise me? Appreciate it.

Hi,

If you are able to update, the latest version avoids the pop up when the gateway redirects.
