Is this possible?
I would like to give the attendees access to parts of the website only available to the website members without having them to sign up for the website also.
Is there a way to accomplish this?

Hi,

So if I read that right you want a person that registers for an event to become a WordPress user, without having to register for that separately?

If so, we don’t have anything built in, but you could use this function Seth came up with https://gist.github.com/sethshoultes/5574217
