add calendar widget in the sidebar

Hi all,
how can I add the calendar widget on the sidebar?
I need to modify sidebar.php file and I don’t found a shortcode for the widget calendar (I don’t have to use the “widget interface” on the theme setting page.

Hello Mirko,

The calendar widget is not enabled via a shortcode, it is a widget, and as such needs to be set in the Appearance > Widgets options page.

IF needed you could use

as per http://codex.wordpress.org/Function_Reference/the_widget but really you would be best with a widgetised area and adding it via the WordPress dashboard.
