Is there a way to add a current user to the attendee list of an event manually without them having to fill out the registration form?
I see how you can manually add an attendee, but would like this information to attach to the users account, so they can see it in their event list. Is this possible? If not, is it in the works??
Currently that isnt possible without either signing in as that user and registering them or digging into the database (really not recommended!). There isnt anything in the works regarding this but ill certainly add your idea to our feature request list.
As an aside, there is a useful plugin called User Switching, which enables you to swap to a user from the User menu so you don’t need to log in and out all the time.
Thanks Dean, I will give the User Switching plugin a try. That work around should be fine for now.
The site I am building is for a school, which does accept registration at the front desk. Think having the ability to add a current User to the registration list would be a super nice features for others with a similar scenario.
