When someone gets to the checkout after clicking on an event and they leave, it shows them pending in the backend and takes away from the event limit. This cannot happen. It takes up a spot for someone that has not paid or just not interested. It should not take away from the event limit until they process payment.

Hello,

Try enabling the pre-approval option in WordPress admin –> Event Espresso –> General Settings:

http://cl.ly/image/2o1d3H0s1Y1m

Then you can enable this on a per event basis in the Event Editor screen (set to yes):

What does the preapproval do exactly?

I just tested it and that does no good. That means the admin has to approve every single person and they dont have time to do that. They can have hundreds per day registering. It seems to be a flaw that it takes the spot even though they have not clicked on the payment. If they have a 0/20 limit and 20 people click to register and dont pay, they will have zero people showing up. That cannot happen

Hi Dorian,

You can change the Default Payment status to “Incomplete” in Event Espresso>General Settings to avoid this. It’s the first setting in this screenshot.
