I’m looking to create a sort of [SINGLEEVENT]
I want to be able to have [SINGLEEVENT] always show the most current event for recurring event.

I want to only have one page, that auto updates to the newest event as they occur. Is this possible?

Hi,

Why not try this: [EVENT_LIST limit=1 show_expired=false show_deleted=false]

Take a look at the right sidebar, [EVENT_LIST] doesn’t make that.

Well, what you could do is add the [ESPRESSO_REG_FORM event_id=**insert id here**] to the event description and make sure in the Template settings “Display short descriptions in the event listings?” is set to yes.

You will need to use some CSS to tidy it it up and hide the register links, duplicate dates, meta, etc, but I end up with this http://d.pr/i/AzvX (I havent gone crazy with todying it up).

Alternately to get what you are asking, you will need to start doing template edits, perhaps creating another shortcode, most certainly it will involve SQL queries.

The alternatively is what I figured I would have to do.
Just wanted to check to see if anyone else had done this first (save myself a little time).

But thank you for your time!
