Hello, here is the current list of versions I’m using….

Wordpress Version 3.8.1

Event Espresso Version 3.1.36.4.P – installed on 1/22/14

Event Espresso-Calendar Version 2.2.2.p – installed on 3/19/14

Event Espresso-Social Media Version 1.1.7.p – installed on 2/3/14

Here is a link to the event calendar: http://www.24hrbookkeeper.com/event-registration/

Two major calendar issues:

1. The dates of each day are not showing up. The calendar looks blank except for today’s date. I need all of the dates (1 – 31) to show on the calendar. It shows Monday – Friday, but I need the dates that correspond with each day to show as well.

2. When I click on an event and click “Register”, nothing happens. How do I get a registration page to come up when clicking on “Register”. I did notice that when I still had the [ESPRESSO_EVENTS] code still in the page, the registration page showed up under the calendar, but I do not want the list of all the events to be on the page, I want only the calendar to show, but when someone clicks on “Register” they should be shown a page where they can fill out their information to register. Is this possible?

Issue with automatic email sent after registration:

In doing a test, I noticed that the emails that are automatically sent come from “WordPress” instead of my company’s name. It does come from my company’s email address, which is info@24hrbookkeeper.com. That’s fine. But the name associated with that email address should be 24hr Bookkeeper, LLC, instead of WordPress. I did not see a place to adjust the Sender’s name for the automated email. I really like the info that is sent in the automated email, so I’d like to continue using that instead of creating a custom one, I just need to change the Sender’s name. Is this possible?

Hi Karine,

1) There is a CSS style that is causing this: http://cl.ly/image/3t3W442m1N24

.ui-widget-content { color: #ffffff; }

Commenting out locally restored the calendar numbers as seen the screenshot above. You could try adding a new CSS style in a plugin like My Custom CSS:

.ui-widget-content { color: #000000; }
.ui-widget-content a { color: #666666; }

2) Clicking on the register link should bring you to your event page to begin registration. Could you double-check that you have the following shortcode only on one WordPress page: [ESPRESSO_EVENTS]

3) For your emails, you could try a plugin like http://wordpress.org/plugins/send-from/ or a service like Mandrill or Postmark which takes over the native wp_mail function.

Got it! All of your answers worked…. I’ll look into the plugin. Thank you!
