Hi Markus,

Other than adding that information to the event, you could create a drop-down question to ask the child’s age. Then, you can also use the Admin Pre-approval feature to approve their registration before they can make a payment. http://staging.eventespresso.com/features/admin-pre-approval/

When attendees try to register for an event that is closed, they are given instructions that the event is full and to join the waiting list. http://staging.eventespresso.com/features/waiting-lists/

On the admin side you create two events (the waiting list can be a duplicate (using the duplicate function) of the first. You set one as a wait-list event, and then select that wait-list event in the options for the primary event. Does that help?

Test Drive Event Espresso (http://staging.eventespresso.com/download/test-drive-event-espresso/) for free if you want to get a better idea of how it works.

hi

thank you very much for your answers.

  1. is it possible for me to easyly add an javascipt-formchecking-script
to prevent, that to old peoples can book an event?

  2. can i set a placeholder for a phpscript to move peoples to the
waiting list – for example when they are from outside of the city?

greets markus

Hi Markus,

Sorry for the delay in the response.

1) It would still need to query the database to pull the existing attendee list.

2) Not really. The waiting list is a separate event, and it’s designed to be redirected to once the Primary event is sold out.
