We need an events manager for a WordPress site (using S2member and BuddyPress) for a Luxembourg client, a charity.
1. It needs to handle bookings and take payments in Euro by credit card (they’re not interested in PayPal, and in any case PayPal Pro is not available in Luxembourg). They don’t want a payment button that links to a payment gateway’s site, but a payment form on our own website collecting the credit card details.
2. They also want members (paid members of the organisation and therefore of the site) to be able to upload their own events to the calendar, subject to moderation.
Can Event Espresso do these two things?

Hi Eyal.

Yes, Event Espresso can do both.

You’ll use a payment gateway that has an on-site payment system so they don’t make your users visit another site. You’ll need an SSL certificate to ensure your transactions are securek

You can use the Roles & Permissions Pro (http://staging.eventespresso.com/product/espresso-permissions-pro/) add-on to allow members of your organization to submit events to the site and let higher-level managers moderate whether the event is published.

Does that help?
